About Upper Ridge Weather

There’s a common joke that politicians and meteorologists are always wrong about the future and somehow still employed. What the joke overlooks is that uncertainty isn’t a failure; it’s a reality. The strongest decisions aren’t built on certainty, but on informed judgment. While no one can predict the future; science, data, and experience allow us to understand risk, prepare for it, and act with confidence. Ignoring uncertainty doesn’t make it disappear. Planning for it does. Try our services, and you’ll see how dedicated, science-driven weather intelligence helps shape smarter, more resilient operations. When you plan with insight instead of assumption, uncertainty becomes a strategic advantage.

Experience

I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Geosciences with a concentration in Applied Meteorology at Mississippi State University. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences with a minor in Physical Sciences from the University of Alberta. Most of my background is in Western Canada, providing meteorological expertise to both private and public sectors. My experience spans transportation, public safety, and fire weather operations, covering everything from early-career forecasting roles to operational meteorology. This background gives me a practical understanding of how weather affects real-world decision making. I focus on translating technical atmospheric information into clear, usable guidance for diverse audiences, helping them better understand and manage weather-related risk.
